Plan Details
The Plan Details tab enables the user to configure fixed year holiday entitlement or accrued holiday as the employee works. When there is accrued holiday, the holiday can be paid through payroll as a pay code rather than basic pay or salary.

- This screen will load the data of an existing Plan. When 'New Accrual Plan' is selected, the page will display blank fields to be populated by the user.
- Holiday entitlement can be accrued in Hours, Day, Weeks, or Months, can be allocated to employees, and can be taken in Hours, Days, or Weeks.
- Location-based public holidays can be allocated on this screen.
- Holiday Years can be run on a specific date such as '0101' to '3112' or the anniversary of a Birth date, Start date, or any user-defined date.
- For employees without contracted hours (e.g. Zero Hour Contracts), the plan can hold default hours and days to enable payment to employees for their holiday days.
- Different full year holiday entitlement can be configured for different length of service bands and be allocated to a holiday accrual Plan.
Field Information
This read-only field displays the code of the selected Plan.
This read-only field displays the description of the selected Plan.
This read-only field displays the leave classification of the selected Plan.
This field displays the following options:

Note that when 'Fixed' is selected as the Plan type, this field will be set to read-only and will display an 'Annual' value (pre-selected).
Select the public holiday plan to be applied:

Note that the options in this field are configured via Public Holiday Regions screen.
This option enables public holidays to be included as leave days when deducting leave from an employee.
For example, an employee files a leave for '02 January 2017' to '06 January 2017'. The Start date ('02 January') of the leave falls on a Monday, which is a Public Holiday in England & Wales.
- If the box is ticked, the system will deducted 5 days from the employee's leave entitlements.
- If the box is not ticked, 4 days will be deducted from the employee's leave entitlements.
This field defines starting period for the accrual of entitlement. Select from the options below:

If 'Holiday' is selected, a "Date" textbox will be displayed beside the "Accrual Entitlement Start" field. This textbox requires an entry in 'DD/MM' (Date/Month) format and will be disabled if any of the other options is selected.
This field that is populated based on the option selected in "Accrual Entitlement Start".
Note that an input in the "Date" textbox will be mandatory if the 'Holiday' option is selected. The entry should be in the 'DD/MM' (Date/Month) format as well.
Enter the default day hours value (i.e. in 2-decimal format, not hours and minutes) in this field. This is to be used when Work Patterns are not used (i.e. for zero-hours contracts).
Enter the value of the default days in a week (i.e. decimal format).

This field is enabled only when the value in the "Leave Taken In" field is 'Weeks'.
This field displays the number of work days in a year.
This field displays the number of holidays an employee is entitled to for a year. Please make sure that the value in this field is not less 28 days; otherwise, a warning message ("The minimum days including bank holidays an employee is entitled to is 28") will be displayed when the 'Next' button is clicked. Select 'Cancel' to return to the screen or click 'OK' to continue on to the next step of the Wizard:
- This field matches the employee's Leave Taken in value.

The warning message/validation is only displayed to entitlements with Classification of 'V' (Holiday).
This field displays the maximum number of units the entitlement can be when rolled forward on anniversary in order to allow for carried-forward unused units.
- The value in this field should not be less than the value defined in the "Full Year Entitlement" field.
Select the length of service plan from the dropdown list.
- This option, which is used for re-setting the holiday year to give new entitlements, is configured via Length of Service Plan screen.
Select the Next button to continue with the workflow. Cancel closes the Wizard.
